Here's my post for Illustration Friday. The topic is reflection. I came up with a few ideas and settled on this one. The woman looking in the mirror isn't pining for her younger days. She has wrinkles and gray hair but feels young inside, and so that is what she sees.digital

There are all these little touches you add into your stuff which really gives it life...the slouch of the old lady's back, the slender neck of her younger counterpart, the subtle shading indicating the reflection of the mirror....

I have a tendency to look in the mirror and see the me I expect to see, not necessarily the one that's actually there, so I could really relate to this! :0) I love the way you colored the older woman's hair. Lovely!
that's funny because everytime i look in the mirror i also see a young woman. i wonder what that means...
