character design blog

I was both surprised and excited when I was approached to be interviewed for Randall Sly's Character Design Blog. There are so many great artists featured here! It really is an incredible blog. It's pretty cool to be the first female featured in it too.

Here's the link: http://eren-blanquet-interview.blogspot.com/

A big thanks to Randall again for the interview!

Hey Erin,

Congrats on the interview - no suprise that you were chosen.

I keep coming back to look at your images. You inspire me to want to try and mimic the type of work you do.

The little bird images are great too!

Hello, I’m Mauro!
I’ve the nerve to write to you urged by the loveliness of your artworks which are really wonderful.
I must introduce myself: I’m a sculptor and an illustrator, and Eloisa, my wife, is also an illustrator.
My blog is: http://porpisio.blogspot.com/
and eloisa's: http://pisopisa.blogspot.com//
Now, between many other things, we are working about a creation of ours: Liludori ( http://www.liludori.com ).
It’s a pop/surrealistic/fool scheme which amuses us and replenishes our time between different tasks… on the site you can just see a lot of what we just made, but it’s missing yet the paintings which will complete the Art-gallery which spreads out more what should be Liludori: a way to see the life, light as when we were children. The quest of little things that often we don’t even remember.
But liludori.com would also be a showcase for friend artists that we love and for that reason we opened a site’s section which just gives hospitality to some “hommages”. Yet there are some and many other are on work. I would ask you if you would like to make one for our site. It would be a honor for us.
But, before everything, watch our site and see if it’s inspiring you.
I’m hoping you’ll give us an affirmative answer. In the meantime we wish to you a Happy New Year.

Sincerely yours Mauro and Eloisa.
