My baby has arrived! Amelia was born July 2, 2011 weighing 7 lbs 3oz. She's healthy, wonderful and so amazing.
The maternity floor at the hospital also happens to be decorated with artwork by Mary Blair. It makes the recovery a little easier, hehe. Above is a photo of the painting just outside my room.
Things are a little busy now, but I also have another exciting illustration project in the works. More details on that later. For now, I'm having a great recovery and enjoying time with my family.

Congratulations!!! That's amazing that your little girl started her life with Mary Blair paintings near by. It's fate :-)
Did she really just come out smiling like that? If your children keep getting progressively cuter like this, pretty soon your home will start looking like your own personal Small World ride (multicultural costumes not included).
