i scream you scream, we all scream...

So I know the weather is getting cold but to me ice cream is good in any weather. Actually it's not really that cold here....just cloudy and kind of cold at night. And in case anyone was wondering the flavor most requested by this young lady is ...chocolate!

    ICE-CREAM!! Love your illo!! Pretty as always ... BUT .. with the special ICE-CREAM theme ... that's made it 10 times more special to the ice-cream monster and Minty!!! Great stuff!!

    Hatebarewalls, Painter is indeed a program....it's wonderful! It's great at making digital painting look a little more traditional.

    Alina, I knew you would appreciate this illustration!! I am a fellow ice cream fiend...

    Steve, since your paintings are awesome and therefore I think you are awesome I will share on technique...
    Ok so basically I import my drawings into Painter and begin by using the dry brush for the big shapes. I'll use the calligraphy pen sometimes for the details (nose, mouth). I'll also use the sponge tool for the rosy cheeks and other shading. So I basically use three brushes...and a Wacom!
